hey with all the songs recorded in the world why does every cover band in the usa try to to be original and different when they all do the same old shit? the sngs are classics but we ruin them with overkill to the point im sick of them. mustangsally, lynnrd skynnrd eric clapton, zztop blah blah bland. i been playing shows for 30 years, i almost want to cry when i have to play them now . how do you not get burned out on this stuff we cut our teeth on years ago.we need to use them for dessert only every now and then. show them something new and put on a show for the main course. dnt let the classics become evey day dull. fans please request your bands to play something new tney will enjoy it and so will you, thanks for being a relief valve for me right now. this is not aimed at any one band particular. remember why we love playing and keep it exciting challenging and most of all fun.

Hey Phil...uh, "Dirt" I mean. It has been a mere 43 years since our paths last crossed. We met when I played drums in a band with Denny, the Loved Ones, back in Fairborn in 1967. Glad to find out you are still strumming away. If you ever run into our mutual friend Gary Hamilton, tell him I said Hi. By the way....Denny was a great, great guy and, even now, I can still remember his sly smile. All the best from the great southwest...Tucson! Brian Barger
